Protego Vitamin K2+D3 is a dietary supplement in capsule form containing Vitamin K2 MK-7 (menaquinone-7) and Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Vitamin K2 MK-7 is obtained through a patented biofermentation process. This process uses a strain of Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria, which has been specially isolated from the Japanese dish natto. Bacillus subtilis natto is the only bacterium responsible for the production of naturally occurring vitamin K2. It is produced naturally without the use of chemical solvents.
